Terms of Service
These are the Terms of Service that governs the sales and services provided by Scooper Troopers Pet Waste Management, LLC.
Scooper Troopers Pet Waste Management is an independently owned and operated business. We provide residential and commercial poop scooping and yard sanitizing and deodorizing services.
By accepting the Service(s) you hired us for, you are bound to these Terms.
Billing
Payment is due in full before any service(s) will be provided (does not apply to initial/ one-time cleanups).
- If you are receiving recurring services, billing will take place after your initial cleanup completion, and you will be charged at the start of every week- Sunday.
- If you have signed up for a One-time cleanup, billing will take place after services have been rendered.
(Recurring clients only) – If we do not receive payment, due to any reason, or your card is declined, we will discontinue service at your property immediately until payment is received. Scooper Troopers Pet Waste Management will notify you upon a failure of payment for updated billing information. Customers also have the ability to update their billing information by accessing the Client Portal located on the menu bar at ScooperTrooperspwm.com
Cancellations/ Refunds/ Fees
Customers are allowed to cancel at any time via the Client Portal, or by calling us, (801) 215-9607, and requesting cancellation.
- If you cancel less than 24hrs before your scheduled service, a $10 refund fee will apply.
- If for any reason your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (i.e. vacation, illness, etc.) and you do not wish to be charged for an unnecessary visit(s), please let us know one week in advance to pause the service.
Fees and Promotions are subject to change at any time. In this rare circumstance, you will be notified at least two (2) weeks prior to any changes.
Yard Access
It is your responsibility as the client to ensure and maintain safe access to your yard. If we are unable to clean due to access, you will be charged for that cleanup, and no refund will be given.
Please make sure we have safe access to your yard.
Initial Cleanup/ One Time Cleanup
Initial Cleanup – customers who sign up to receive recurring scooping service will require an initial cleanup. This sets the stage for us to clear your yard of any debris obstructing our view of the poop so that we are better able to clean for every appointment thereafter. Initial cleanups are charged a rate of $35 for the first 40mins, and $1/min for any time beyond the forty minutes.
One Time Cleanup – Rates start at $55 per cleanup for 45mins of cleaning. Cleanings over 45mins will be charged at a rate of $1/min for any time over.
We only haul away the scooped poop from your property, so any other debris (leaves, trash, etc…) collected will be placed into your yard waste bins, and/ or trash bins.
Yard Sanitizing & Deodorizing
1. Scope of Service
Recurring Clients: Our Veterinary-Grade Sanitizing & Deodorizing is applied once per week following your scheduled pet waste removal upon request.
One-Time Cleanup Clients: The treatment is applied immediately following the completion of the deep-clean scoop.
Standalone Clients: Service includes an application of our Veterinary-Grade formula to the designated areas (grass, turf, or hardscapes).
2. Safety & Access
Immediate Access: Our formula is 100% biodegradable and non-toxic. Pets and humans may return to the treated area immediately after application.
Plant Safety: While our product is specifically designed to be plant-safe and non-corrosive, we recommend that extremely delicate or indoor-only potted plants be moved or covered prior to service as a precaution.
Surface Versatility: We safely treat tile, cement, glass, painted wood, plastics, and coated metals. Scooper Troopers is not responsible for the degradation of surfaces that were already damaged, peeling, or improperly sealed prior to application.
3. Effectiveness & Expectations
Odor Neutralization: Our product is a molecular neutralizer, not a mask. While it is highly effective at destroying ammonia and sulfur smells, extremely old or deep-set odors (especially in dirt or old wood) may require multiple treatments to fully eradicate.
Pathogen Reduction: Our treatment is a clinical-level disinfectant that kills 99.9% of targeted bacteria and viruses (including Parvo and Giardia). However, this service is a preventative measure and does not guarantee that a pet will not contract an illness from other environmental sources or future waste.
4. Weather Policy
In the event of heavy rain or snow at the time of your scheduled service, we may postpone the sanitizing application to ensure the product is not immediately washed away, maintaining its effectiveness for your yard.
Yard Maintenance
- It is imperative that you, the client, maintain your yard in between weekly cleanings (no excessive leaves, debris, etc…) otherwise you will be charged a $15.00 Scooping Convenience Fee to cover the technician’s time.(will be added to that day’s service, and you will be invoiced that day). Excess leaves, sticks, etc… impede our ability to effectively locate the poop and scoop, drastically increasing the amount time spent in yard(s) scooping.
Weather
- We will scoop in most weather conditions, but Inclement weather may make it hazardous or impossible to make a scheduled cleanup. In this event, we will contact you asking if service can be rendered before or after the scheduled cleanup, and when.
- SNOW – we will not be able to scoop if there is more than 2″ of fresh snow on the ground. Our staff will send a text message to confirm the yard is accessible. If we arrive and yard conditions are poor, a $15.00 Scooping Convenience Fee will be added to that cleanup and you will be invoiced that day.
Skipped Jobs/ Cancelled Jobs
If we have to skip a visit due to weather or unfavorable yard conditions and are unable to service your yard that week, you will still be charged: we still have to remove the accumulated waste during the next visit, resulting in double the work and time. If we have to skip more than two visits due to weather/unfavorable conditions, the next visit will be treated and billed as an initial cleanup.
PRIVACY POLICY
We collect your name, email, and zip code when signing up to receive a quote for service. We will only use the information provided to send out pricing quotes and to update you about our services (if you have decided to sign up for service). We do not share any of your contact information with third parties, and is solely used for business related to Scooper Troopers PWM.
