Starting Fresh: The Initial Clean

All recurring services begin with a deep-clean initial visit
  • De-Cluttering for Visibility: We remove small twigs, leaves, and debris to clear the field of vision, ensuring your yard is perfectly prepped for future recurring visits
  • Extensive Yard Scouring: Our Scoopers perform a high-intensity sweep of the entire property to locate and remove 100% of accumulated waste
  • Bio-Hazard Reset: We sanitize and deodorize the entire area to eliminate lingering pathogens and old odors, creating a safe baseline for your home
  • Debris Management: For yards with excessive leaves, we utilize your on-site waste bins to dispose de-cluttered organic material

🎾Our goal is a 100% waste-free reset of your yard. While we include light debris removal (twigs and leaves) to improve visibility, this is not a full-service yard cleanup

The Visibility Rule: If waste is buried under deep leaf piles or overgrown brush, we cannot guarantee 100% removal

Pre-Cleaning Prep: For the best results and to keep your costs down, we highly recommend mowing your grass and raking heavy leaf mounds before we arrive

Policy: If a yard is so overgrown that waste is inaccessible, we will clean what is visible, but the $15 Scooping Convenience Fee may still apply if the technician determines the yard is not scoopable in its current state

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the $15 Scooping Convenience Fee work?

To provide a thorough clean, we must be able to see the waste. If your technician arrives and find the grass is too tall (generally above ankle height) or the yard is covered in excessive debris like leaves, twigs/branches, or fallen fruit, they cannot effectively see the poop, drastically increasing the amount of time spent in yard(s) scooping. In these cases, a $15 fee is charged to cover the technician’s time, even for recurring clients. You can avoid this by using the Client Portal to skip or reschedule your service 24 hours in advance if your yard isn’t ready.

Is the sanitizing and deodorizing spray safe for my pets?

Yes! Our formula is 100% pet, people, and plant safe. It is a veterinary-grade disinfectant that is non-toxic and biodegradable. Your pets and children can safely play in the yard immediately after our service is complete.

Do I need to be home when the Scoopers arrive?

No, you do not need to be home. As long as your gate is unlocked and your pets are secured indoors, our team can perform the service and send you a photo notification when the job is done.

What happens if it rains on my service day?

We scoop in most weather conditions, including light rain and snow. However, if the weather is severe or makes it impossible to locate waste, we will notify you via text/app to reschedule. If we perform the scooping but cannot apply the sanitizer due to heavy rain (to prevent it from washing away), we will apply it at your next visit.

Does the Initial Cleaning take longer than a normal visit?

Usually, yes. The initial clean is a deep clean to get your yard to a baseline level of freshness. Our base rate [$35] covers the first 40 minutes of cleaning, with a rate of $1/minute thereafter if the waste accumulation is significant.

Does the grass height rule apply to my Initial Cleaning?

While we are more flexible during your first visit to get your yard ready for future visits, the Visibility Rule still applies. If we have to manually sift through weeks/months of unraked leaves or tall weeds to find waste, it significantly increases your service time and cost ($1/min after the first 40 minutes). For the most cost-effective and thorough cleaning, please ensure your yard is clear of major debris.

Can I change or cancel my service easily?

Absolutely. You have full control through our Client Portal. You can skip a week, add an extra cleaning, or pause/cancel your recurring service at any time with no long-term contracts.
